This evening as I worked on some photos ... it started to rain ... a huge down-pouring descended upon the town I live in ... I looked out my patio door and the sky was dark grey but there seemed to shine a light in the distance ... and I thought ... there must be a rainbow out there somewhere ... I went to the patio door with camera in hand ... and I was blessed to see this beautiful rainbow ... actually, it was a double rainbow ... perfectly formed right in front of my window ... I was filled with so much excitement and gratitude at the sight of it ... You see, just before this sighting, my son had just phoned me and decided to be angry about something and I didnt know how to responded with patience so I hung up on him ... his bad behaviour had angered me ... I usually let it slide like water off a ducks back but today I wasnt as gracious as I had learned to be ... So I was feeling a bit guilty for my reaction ... and then I saw this glorious sight in the sky ... it just turned my attention to God and his everlasting love and forgiveness ... With a grateful heart I stopped and meditated on this ... God Answered: As it was in the days of Noah I bequeath my allegiance to you - my children and the earth by the sign of the bow in the sky after a great rain ... Although the sky looks dark and fear of the darkness abounds ... the light of the rainbow speaks of my light and love for you and my salvation in the midst of turmoil ... You may go through a dark time but there will always be light after the storm ... there will always be revelation and peace for your heart and soul if you stand in the faith I have given you ... You will rebound and profit ... you will heal and be made whole ... you will come through the turbulence Victorious ! This is my promise to you when you lean on me ... stand on my word ... believe in your heart ... know that I am your God and you are my child ... I am always with you and will never leave you ... My peace I give to you ... Be of good cheer and be not troubled ... All is well
