This evening the School Committee appointed Mrs. Michelle Roy as the new Assistant Superintendent of Schools. Mrs. Roy is currently the K-12 Director of Data and Accountability in Attleboro, MA. She will be joining our system on September 15th. Michele has also been an Assistant Superintendent in Whitman-Hanson Regional Schools, and the K-12 Director of Student Support Services in Plymouth. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to out district which will be so important to us as we move forward to address the many state and federal initiatives that face our district. Furthermore, she recognizes the importance of open communication among all of the stakeholders; as well as the need to develop respectful relationships with both colleagues and staff. I believe the hiring of Michelle Roy will help us to continue to move forward as we look toward continual improvement of our district.
