This evening was a special one at Maury High School--our Honors Recognition Ceremony (aka Honors Baccalaureate Night). I want to congratulate all my students who were recognized, but most importantly, Id like to congratulate those Governors School kids from Maury who are able to hold it down in academically rigorous classes while maintaining a grueling GSA rehearsal schedule. Shout out first to my own prince Micah Cook (10th grade), Amelia Dobbs (11th grade), Genki Hall Taylor Short (11th grade) and to Isabel Zada Tamouro (12th grade) for achieving HIGH HONORS and to Clara Zimm and Sam Dimirsky (10th grade) for achieving honors! You guys rock! Other kids would be amazed to see how you do what you do (and sometimes on as little as 4 hours of sleep)! Im proud of you all! Continue to soar!
