This evening we took the dogs and drove out to Pigeon Lake. Jo did a bit of fishing but no bites. He just enjoyed the activity. The dogs were in heaven. Nano spent his energy attacking the waves hitting the shore by jumping on them and biting them and running up and down after the bigger ones. Pooped him out. Lol. We got there late so it was sun down. My most favorite thing ever. Sunset beside a lake. There is nothing more silent or peaceful than that. It is an experience I carry with me from childhood at my Omamas and Putnas place at Lac La Nonne. I loved that time between the day time sounds and the night time sounds. Everything stops and there is a hush, a stopping of all activity as the sun sinks below the horizon. When they tell you in meditation to go to a quiet place in your mind I always go to the hilltop at my grandparents place. Funny things you carry with you through life. It was a lovely end to a nice day. Feel much more rested.
