This fall we will be having two major fundraisers to try to not only pay off all our bills, but hopefully get ahead a little. People often ask what our adoption fees go to pay. First, know we are 100% volunteer run. No one is paid for the time they put into the rescue. For curiosity sake I added up the vet bills the rescue has paid for the past 6 months. Paid, not incurred. We still have more bills to pay. Our vet bills paid from March until today are almost $17,000. Yikes! I didnt even realize that!. That does not include the fees we pay to have dogs boarded when we cannot find a foster home or need a trainer evaluation, fees for general expenses, or transport fees. So, I will be posting separately details about our two fall fundraisers. One is a calendar fundraiser and the other is a fall event, Fall in love with Rescue which will be held at Boothill Pub on November 1st. Thank you in advance for your support.
