This fallacy of a corporation being a person annoys me. If NBC/Universal (Bravos owner) was a person, Id take him out for a beer and talk to him about how hes being an asshole. Not cool, dude. California passes legislation to offer more tax credits to pacify these media corporations in the hopes they will create more jobs in the state and this is the thanks, bro we get. The message being, dont expect well paying jobs, just be happy with whatever scraps we leave behind. Im sad to see union busting out in the open like this. So many people in commenting on this situation with Shahs are quick to pass judgment and blame on workers and unions yet I click away from the entertainment section and all i read is about the disappearance of the middle-class and the resulting stratification of wealth. Regardless of your feelings or even the relevance of unions today, why are we all becoming servants and apologists for the corporations? Testify, Brother Rob.
