This family only have enough left to keep a roof over their head for another 10 days . Most of what has already been donated has been sent over to them and their money is going down fast . Please anything anyone could donate WILL be a huge help to them , even just a few dollars . If you cant donate then please share with a message asking your contacts to donate if they can and get them to share it too .. thank you xxx This family lost their home through family circumstances and increasing pressure on my friend trying to care for his learning disabled brother and elderly father and cope with health issues himself . This led to him losing his job and to the family losing their home . They have been fighting to survive ever since for way too long now and I truly want to find them help to get them back on their feet again and make this New Year the year we change things for them . They need to stay safe in their hotel room whilst that help is found and put in place though and that is why I need your help . The only income they have is the benefit Tonys learning disabled brother gets .. and that does not cover the cost of their room and is why they need our help. The car they used to rely on as a emergency home has been scrapped now due to it being so old and needing such major repairs doing to it . This means if they cant cover the room they are truly in danger of walking the streets . . Since losing their home they have gone through living in an old car on the streets , losing almost everything they owned and seeing it sold off on ebay by others , Tony going hungry and not eating on many many occasions for days at a time to make sure his family eats and has a place to stay safe and so much more . When his dad was ill Tony was totaly devoted to him and nursed him through cancer which left him with a colostomy bag even though they were living in their car for some of the time . When his had a stroke which left him with swallowing difficulties that caused repeated bouts of severe pneumonia Tony was at his bedside almost all day every day , only leaving it to care for his brother and 2 little dogs for a whole 3 months and then was so devastated when his dad could fight it no more and died . He has also been devoted to his learning disabled brother who needs constant supervision and his 2 little dogs .. one of which is elderly and blind . No matter what life throws at him his brother and 2 little dogs mean everything to him and hes determined he will take care of them himself and that he will not risk them being mistreated by handing that responsibility on to others . Please help me keep this family safe and find them the help they need so they can get out of the mess they find themselves in with seemingly no way out . Anything you can donate to help cover the cost of their room will do that and will be greatly appreciated , as will any other help you can give , like sharing the fund raiser on twitter and Facebook etc They were dealt yet another devastating blow at the start of the New Year too ... his little old dog who had been with them for over 10 years crossed over rainbow bridge . It happened right at the start of this new year and soon as I saw the news on Facebook I called Tony . He was sobbing his heart out and could hardly talk he was so upset . He was convinced the year would only get worse for them and that theyd be walking the streets by the end of this month because no one would donate to the fund raiser any more and theyd have to leave the hotel . I told him we would NOT let that happen that they have people who love and care about them and they will donate .. but its just early yet and right after the holidays so no ones got any spare money . I am relying on you people out there though to give what you can when you can and help me keep this family safe and off the streets . Please also share where you can too with a message asking those seeing it to donate and share too . Together all working as a team of angels for this family we can all play our part in showing them they are loved and cared about and helping them stay safe . Your donation can be a small one it doesnt have to be large .. every dollar is another dollar towards covering another night in their room and giving them some hope back . At the moment they have very little hope and feel nothing to look forward to either but uncertainty and a very real possibility of walking the streets .
