This film brought me to joyful tears. Everyone always asks me where the most beautiful place to visit in the Caribbean is since Ive lived, worked, and spent so much time in the islands- well here it is. If youre looking for posh resorts and shopping- this is not your place. 24mi by 16mi and the most mountainous island in the Caribbean. It also contains topographical traits found in only one other place in the world, New Zealand. I was blessed to stay in a hand built cabin hanging off the side of a mountain in a rainforest, to bathe outdoors everyday in Spring water, and to eat fruits, vegetables, and livestock my entire stay like I have never experienced the like of, to be gently awoken each night at 2am promptly by rain showers on my roof that just as gently lulled me back to slumber. This is a culture of farmers, fisherman, carpenters...parents, so closely entwined with nature it is almost unreal. No tour guides, often alone, I took my jeep from one end to the other meeting locals, eating in their homes, listening.... Learning.... Being..... Humbled.....
