This flag has been beaten tattered and abused, but I cant imagine the state of the world without it. Our leaders have behaved shameful at times but we have no one to blame but ourselves. The incredible beauty of this country is how it was formed to give the power to the people. Whatever you see in the country and its leaders is only a reflection of its people. If we have let the leaders become rulers; if we have let the laws get out of control, its because we as a people have become lazy and uninformed. Its seems so easy to sit back and criticize the work others are doing. If you dont like what this country offers, you have two choices. Get involved and vote! Or you can leave this great land and see what else there is out there. Ive experienced the latter and because of it, I deeply love this country.
