This footage was taken from Birddog 383, firefighting aircraft on Saturday 3rd January of a fire which ignited by lighting in the Big Desert State Forest, south west of Underbool in the Mallee district. The fire burnt 1292 hectares, before being contained with the assistance of 11 vehicles, two dozers, two bombers, and staff from DEWLP, Parks Victoria , CFA (Country Fire Authority)).
