This from L. J.: Every once in a while its good to stop, take a breath, see how good God has been to you, then see what you can do to give back a little. Those of you who know me well, know Im opposed to illegal immigration. However, we have 50,000 immigrant children enrolling in schools this year. We cant load them in dump trucks and haul them to a border crossing. Theyre children. And if I were them or their parents, Id be doing everything I could to get them to this wonderful country of ours. So, what to do? A child is held back by his inability to speak English...and I dont mean held back in school, but rather kept from higher education and from decent jobs. My longtime friend Tim Traser has taught English to Chinese children, and trained teachers to do so, for two decades. And we plan to bring his program to schools, libraries, and individuals for pennies, and in some cases for free.
