This gal has the next 3 days OFF!! Warm fuzzy clothing & happy hat donned. Bass guitar in hand, hot coffee near by - lots of practice & rest & recuperation time is what I have planned! :p I try to always keep my focus on the positive side of life & always keep moving forward and striving hard to reach all of my goals and dreams.. Sometimes I forget I am after all only human.. I need to pause.. I need to listen to my body :) So for the next few days I will rest because I need to clear up the gunk in my lungs! I can not stand it when anything gets in my way from performing at my peak. I have to remember & sometimes I am forced to acknowledge when my body revolts & says ENOUGH!!! My vocal chords are my instrument & I work very hard to keep myself fit & healthy - especially because of Rheumatoid Arthritis & Fibromyalgia. I call them my Silent Nuisances. If allowed they can be consuming life stealers & I refuse to let them have control over my body, mind or soul... I have learned how to keep these two to a low annoyance. It is something I work at everyday because I am a victor not victim & wont be hindered by anything.. Its my life & I intend to live it on my terms, my way.. I have recently changed my diet to a Paleo diet. Gluten Dairy & Sugar Free.. The diet transition is my biggest challenge but because I REFUSE the doctors pharmaceutical remedies - a girls got to do what she must. I am a warrior & will prevail!! I love being able to sing & performing live feeds my soul! I try to give every single ounce of energy within my being to the audience so they can hopefully experience what I am feeling... I live for that connection :) So I will do whatever it takes to naturally heal myself and get back to tip top shape :) & keeping my Silent Nuisances from getting in my way, because I want the awesome people who come and support my dreams to get the very best of me always :)
