This generation of kids I feel like is being raised to be kids that expect us to bend over backwards for them every step of the day. Go back to when we were kids, the parents were in charge, not the kids, and the parents didnt give a rats if we liked it or not. All of these moms trying to prove themselves with the overly themed kids bday parties, ridiculously fancy school lunches..not my thing. Im not cutting my kids sandwich into cute little shapes, and I dont think that makes me a bad mom. Do the kids even appreciate it anyways? They dont really care. Are we doing all this just to impress other moms? I think so! Off my soap box now..just something thats been bugging me lately. :-)
