By 12 midnight she called that she had a problem and needed about =N=20,000 (GHC200) to solve it. I froze and muted that when we see tomorrow we talk it over. Next day 7 am she called to remind me, i said no problem i remember. By 12pm she said she is picking taxi and had no money, like a mugu i am i said no problem, i was with some of my Ghana peeps. She arrived gave me bill, considering the distance, it was outrageous, who was i to complain, you expect me to fall my hand? never!!!!! original Lagos boy, kaduna boy, Warri and Benin boy, Calabar and Ibadan peep? i paid with inner murmuring and tears sha. As we were beefing ourselves, una know boys now? i asked her what she will drink, she said Guinness(Stout), i said she can have it and then i asked what she will eat, she looked up menu and chose the most expensive, i said no shaking, sweating. before the food will arrive she had gulped her drink like water and asked for another. I was watching distracted at her while the guys continued to beef one another and even me. Then she asked for another plate of food so she can take to her mother who did not want to cook that day. (At this moment i realize she was booking her night food, na today?) so i grudgingly agreed. After 2 hours she said she needed to see me alone, i obliged knowing what to expect. She went like how about the money, i need dash down some where urgently, i will see you later. Trust me, i now told her that she was lucky i was with her brothers not mine oh. i went up in flare, you don eat afternoon, arrange night, take stout like water and then say you want the cash, which cash now? i be bank? i be your boyfriend? how many hours i don know you? i know your house or you know mine? na so money easy for una place na him you no fit pay taxi money. At that point people gather oh. She say i embarrass am, my people abeg make una judge matter.
