This gentlemen was in the lobby of the hotel I work at and we started talking about baseball and I told him I was a life long cubs fan, and he says my name is Pat Jarvis I pitched for braves and expos I gave up #500 to Ernie banks,, he said he also gave up Willie Mays #599. He said give me your address, I whip out a business card wrote down my address, a week later he sends my 5 autographed baseball cards and a 5x7 picture signed by him To Steve a true baseball fan!!! I was so excited!!! I also got to meet the great Ernie banks in 1984 at the four queens hotel, when we heard he was checking for a pro am golf tournament my coworkers were like your the cubs fan you can handle his bags, when he arrived and i got in the elevator with him and his wife, I got chocked up, I was so excited I couldnt speak. The next morning he came down a hour to early for his departure and I got to talk to him for about a hour it was Awesome. No picture but I got autograph. RIP in peace #14!!!
