This getting old thing is getting old! Went to the eye doctor yesterday. My right eye has been acting up. Its sort of bulging out and is now totally out of line with my other eye (it looks lower). The eyelid is sagging a lot. It is always very puffy when I wake up in the morning and it takes hours for it to go back down. Plus, theres a constant dull pain behind it. Surprisingly (to me), he discovered that I have double vision when I look to the extreme right or left. I didnt notice that before. He ordered a full blood workup and an MRI of my eye orbits and the brain. He said he wanted to rule out any tumors. Then he found a fairly large and hard bump in my neck just below my right jaw. Lymph node maybe... So, Im pleased that Im not imagining things being wrong with my eye but a bit concerned about what might be wrong... Ever since my 20s I have had perfect vision and now thats in jeopardy. OK my old timers hypochondriac rant is done... :)
