This girl painfully reminded me of an innocent little girl I met at funeral right for one of my uncles in Mubende. I saw the little thing at night about the fire place, with her small legs full of dust and eyes eagerly waiting for some one to call her for a hug or place in the chilling cold night or for a piece of roasted maize we were enjoying. The little angel I was later informed had been left behind by parents who had come as manual workers and my people had taken her in. She spent the evening playing about on my lap and we enjoyed the maize and kid stories. The gal was later to keep coming to my head and after some time, I realized I could adopt her until her parents decided otherwise. Inquiring on her condition, I was told they had come and taken her. She however remains with me up to now. They are some like her in your life or around your life with eyes looking up to you, with hearts lighting up and with futures that could brighten with a little of your love. DO NOT DISAPPOINT.
