This global engineering business, heavily involved with future technology and pioneering solutions are seeking a Test and Development Engineer to provide test reports and design experiments. The chosen candidate will have an engineering degree and experience of working within a test environment. Commutable from: Oxford, Newbury, Swindon, Reading, Bicester, Cirencester Salary: £ 32,000 - £ 42,000 p.a. + benefits Suitable for: Design and Test Engineer, Electronics Engineer, Test Engineer The Role Work closely with engineering design and project manager to ensure that development is aligned with customer requirements; contribute to product innovations and improvement ideas Actively engage in engineering development work including design of experiments to make sure that product is functioning to customer requirements Produce technical reports, specifications, test plans, handbooks and maintain build standards of products under test and other design related documentation Assume ownership of internal projects, taking responsibility for coordinating with design and engaging in development to guarantee that projects are delivered Operate testbed control systems and carry out complex tests, analyse data, troubleshoot problems and implement solutions Post may require travel to customer sites (possibly internationally located) to ensure correct implementation of product to customers satisfaction Complete project and test reports where necessary The Person Engineering degree qualified in Electronics, Mechanical or Mechatronics Development engineering role at a high technology, engineering focused firm.
