This goes against all I learned in university but thats not really relevant since my expertise were on upbuilding diet and clinical nutirition LOL. And a lot have changed in 30 years hehehe! Though fasting always had its advantages. I only lost 8 kilos since January with exercise, obviously not with diet hehehe. Ive never been on a real diet for 48 years and when I withhold something, I binge heavily :(. I probably consume 2400 calories a day and probably burn only 800 - 1000 and less when my back hurts terribly :(. But this is a good idea. Fast for 16 hours and eat your regular diet in 8 hours. Maybe just maybe, it makes leptin, the endocrine system and hormones function more efficiently. A loss of 2 kilos a month would satisfy me as long as there are no drastic diet restrictions :). Hopefully my powerful abs (required to strengthen core muscles for my back support) would no longer be under several layers of fat at least by the end of 2015 hehehe.
