This government has resulted in unemployment rates at 12 year record highs. Business owners will be rewarded with fewer and poorer consumers, and also increased random job applications resulting from the unemployed being forced to send 40 job applications a month. Its not just workers and families that suffer... The reduced consumption and potentially increased bad debts and reluctance by the government to embrace clean energy will also lead to reduced wealth by Australians, given that the share market is overweight old resources and banks. Property prices could also fall as a result of the increasing unemployment. Bleak times ahead... We just need to see how Bush Jr wrecked the US economy, leaving Obama to do the cleaning up. Hopefully, Abbott doesnt see entering unnecessary wars as his only way to reduce his unpopularity, ie by increasing nationalism.
