This group has been created by a good friend on behalf of my son, JJ Frank Horsfield. Thank youDale Weasel Royal. As most of you know, I have spent the majority of my spare time throughout my life very much involved in the hobby of Banger Racing. My son JJ who is 2 years 11 months, has come along to watch Banger Racing since he was born, with me and the lads all over. Me and my partner said that JJ would choose his own interests and not be pushed into the sport, and that we would support him in whatever he chose. however I feel privalidged and proud that JJ absolutely loves bangers and he is 100%dedicated at his young age. He has Pink Blood and follows in line with TSB- Team Stink Bridge being the 3rd generation. Nearly 2 years ago for JJs 1st birthday he got a Jeep, which was stripped down and painted in our team colours which was then sign written by uncle Jake Cubsta Henstock. In the past 2 years, JJ has taken his Jeep to every race that we have been to, and is recognised at the track with his Jeep. I often get compliments that he has made peoples day! JJ has his own overalls, helmet and goggles which makes him feel involved and at home he spends hours booshing his cars and lining them up on his wooden banger track, making engine noises as young boys do. As JJ has grown, his addiction to Bangers has grown with him. JJs love for taking his very own Banger to the tracks was taken away on Saturday 1st November when he was told that he is no longer aloud to play in his car. As you can imagine he doesnt understand why he can no longer take it, when he has taken it with us for the past two years and became routine. I also find this hard to accept, as previously at tracks, this has never been an issue and has been awarded his own trophy for completing a lap of the track in his car and is recognised wherever he goes. When JJ is doing his thing, he is fully supervised and wears his overalls and helmet. I feel that surely he is safer in his car being fully supervised than he is running around the pits? I was also told that he will give other children ideas and they will be more kids bringing their cars along too. Surely this would be a good thing? How can this be perceived as so negative... promoting the sport and enabling it to continue ... These kids are our future! Please Startrax sort this out !!! LITTLE HOSS!
