This guy rearends a car and pushes the car into a daycare, killing one little girl and injuring 14-others...and he LEAVES THE SCENE! They need to find this guy and Jeff Ashton needs to make an example out of him!! For charges of Leaving the Scene with a fatality, he is looking at up to 30-years in prison. Tack on an additional 5-years for each of the other 14 that were injured and he is looking at up to 100-years in prison for Leaving the Scene. The Justin McWilliams Act has put some teeth into the leaving the scene section of the statute. The only way that we will see a decrease in these hit and run cases is if you make it harder on them to leave than if they would have stayed. This is the perfect case to show those that have such a complete disregard for human life, that if you leave, you WILL regret it!
