This handsome boy is 6 months old today. Wow. 6 months! Half a year! Im not going to lie, in the days leading up to his half-birthday I was having a hard time dealing with it. Hes lived in the hospital for 6 months. Weve lived away from home for 6 months. Hes never been home. Hes never even been outside. But then I realized, hes 6 months old! Hes beaten the odds. Hes proved the doctors statistics wrong. Hes not only survived and still fighting, hes thriving! I know that every child is a miracle. But I think that everyone would agree that Parker is a very special miracle. In his six months, hes overcome more than most will in their lifetime. In his six months hes brightened our life more than I could have imagined. In his six months hes shown a countless number of people the love, mercy, and POWER of God! Happy half birthday to our sweet, sweet Parker! God is good and we are BLESSED!
