This happened a few moments before Gabe Swaggart preached in an Atlanta meeting a few months ago. It is 100% against what he so dutifully preaches against. I went to the hosting pastor and explained my disdain for this rock and roll music and light show, and the disrespect they were showing this young Man of God. He just laughed in my face. Once all the smoke and noise and stage show productions died down, Gabe took to the pulpit and preached a Gospel Message gun-barrel straight. I was so proud of him!!! If you like this shallow type of church, that is your perogative. But why in this round world would you book a nationally known conservative to come minister, knowing you are going to fly in his face with everything he stands against? I believe it was contrived to try to mess with him... But God showed up despite the circus side show, and He used Gabe to truly minister to those who came for truth!! It was a precious time around the altars... The others, however, sat with crossed arms, frowned countenances, and rolled eyes. Most left the building. I wish they had stayed... :-( But I believe that just proved that they were convicted by The Word he preached, and failed to heed The Spirits call. Sad.
