This happened on my way to work today-On Bannerghatta road, signal earlier to shoppers stop. The ambulance honked its way up till the signal (not too far away from it) and there it stood, honking for a good 2 mins almost. I have in the past walked up to the traffic police urging them to clear vehicles irrespective of signal. Today- there was no traffic constable in sight. Even if commuters in front of the ambulance attempted to make way, they cdnt have; probably cause of the ongoing traffic in the cross roads ahead. How can we tackle such deadlocks ? Every second is precious in the pursuit to save someones life.
