This happens all to often...parents not watching their kids, it makes me sick. Children are curious, they want to explore and play with things they dont normally see, not knowing the danger that is involved....This is where parenting comes in...teaching them about the dangers of playing in the street, around a pool, talking to strangers, looking both ways before crossing, jumping on the bed, playing on stairs, sticking your head through the rails of a fence, climbing fences and sitting on the ledge of a 20ft wall with nothing to catch you but a hard ground, pointy branches and dangerous animals (a previous experience just last week with a neighbors child).....I know that children are fast and in a blink of an eye something can happen to even the best parents, and who are sitting right next to the child. You turn your head for a second and boom, something bad happens. Mistakes happen, were only human. BUT...when a child is wandering around alone, parents nowhere in sight, and havent even payed attention to the fact that, hey, wheres the baby because their watching that program on TV, that can easily be recorded and watched after the kids asleep...or their to busy talking to their friends making plans for the weekend to look up and check on the child, or that nap that was just to tempting to pass up, or the basket in front of you at the grocery store or Walmart that is not only empty but is equipped with a child seat and seat belt, but you couldnt put the cell phone down long enough to put your kid in it and make sure they were safe. THERE IS NO EXCUSE!! Children rely on us to make the right choices, to protect them from whatever harm can come to them. Im so tired of seeing kids getting hurt when it could have been prevented. This baby in the video, walking around in a diaper and t-shirt playing on a fountain for 3 minutes and 40 seconds by himself....almost of whole minute of that he was fighting for his life because he fell in. Had his brother (or so he seems to be his brother) not seen him, he would have drown. Finally his mother shows up....WHERE WAS SHE 3 MIN AND 40 SEC AGO??? People if you have no interest in taking care of your kids, and making sure they are safe, then turn them over to loving and willing people who will love them and take care of them...hell, inbox me and I will give you my phone number and address, you can drop them off. I would love to have a child to love, hug, and care for. PLEASE WATCH YOUR CHILDREN, LOVE YOUR CHILDREN, TEACH YOUR CHILDREN AND TELL THEM YOU LOVE THEM....NOBODY IS PROMISED TOMORROW.
