This has always been one of my favorite scriptures and one that I cling to. “Teach your children to choose the right path, and when they are older, they will remain upon it” (Proverbs 22:6 NLT). “Only be careful, and watch yourselves closely so that you do not forget the things your eyes have seen or let them slip from your heart as long as you live. Teach them to your children and to their children after them” (Deut. 4:9 NIV). “Fix these words of mine in your hearts and minds; tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Teach them to your children, talking about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up” (Deut. 11:18-19 NIV).
