Trivia moment: Jayne Mansfield had a near genius IQ AND is the mother of the mega-extraordinary actress/activist/director Mariska Hargitay (Law & Order: SVU). After Mansfields tragic death due to her car sliding under the rear of the truck trailer bed, a protective bar was manufactured and required by law to be installed as a safety measure on the rear of all trucks, the bar is called The Mansfield Bar.
