This has been a great weekend. Felt so good to be around my Xavier Prep sisters again. Just to laugh, cry, smile, and be silly was truly a blessing. As I driving to the paint party this evening, tears begin to flow...tears of joy. Im so grateful to have been a part of Xavier Prep...of the class of 93....to be able to reunite after 20 years...and to see that everyone has been blessed. God is amazing! Mr. Owens reminded of how Prep helped to instill values, confidence, hardwork, service and sisterhood into us. Many of have formed lifelong bonds from being at Prep. Last night, I read the poem still I rise by Maya Angelou and Lord knows thats my testimony....no matter what I face, ILL RISE. SMILING A like my girl Nita D said, this was therapeutic and I believe we all were blessed from the experience Smile.
