This has been a long day. Another day on the emotional roller coaster. I decided to sit down and try to respond to each private message and try to reply to each post, but I realized what a huge task that would be, and while not impossible, I just cant do it right now. So this is a private message to each and every person that has reached out to me. Whether it be by a facebook post, a private message, a reply to a post, a text message, an email, a phone call, sharing my posts, and in person visits and hugs. Each one of those gestures were a sign of love for my brother, me or my family. Each gesture was appreciated more than words can express. Im humbled by the outpouring of love. I always knew what a kind and generous soul my brother was and I knew he was well known and well liked, but I never truly knew the extent to which he was LOVED. I pray somehow that my brother can feel all of this love. Its what he always wanted all along. Godspeed Steven Douglas. Youve taken a piece of our hearts with you.
