This has been a politically full week and many opinions have been tossed about, especially here on Facebook! The challenge is we tend to spiritualize our preferences (and demonize the opinions that are opposed to ours), whether its worship music, preaching styles, or political parties. Unfortunately, many are putting their faith in man-made systems to save our nation. Jesus is NOT a Democrat, Republican, Libertarian, Tea Partier, Independent. But make no mistake, Jesus IS a political figure; it’s just that He is establishing his OWN Kingdom, and He calls for us to seek FIRST His Kingdom. The government shall be upon HIS shoulders.
