This has been a very difficult week as we lost a co-worker in our office. He did not show up to work on Monday morning, his calendar showed an appointment, but not the location. After trying to reach him by phone and e-mail, and no response our boss and the RPD Sgt. on my team drove to his home and found him. He had apparently passed away sometime during the night. His new bride (2mos and 2 days) was at work, she had not spent the night there Sun. as she had to be in Blythe very early Mon morning. Phil was never late for work, he opened up the place and started the coffee. It is a very sad time for our department and especially our team, he was a very important part of it. His office is just around the corner from me, and I have to walk past it to go anywhere in the building. We will miss you Phil!
