This has been a very long and emotional day for my Mother, my brother and me. But I am satisfied that the home my Mother is in is a clean, well run and nice place. There are a lot of structured activities, outings, cookouts and a lot more. Major life changes are hard. But most of us have to face them sooner or later. Nothing stays the same on this life path. It is just hard to see a parent or loved one realize that they can no longer be as independent as they were. But my hope and prayers are that Mama will accept these things, enjoy the company of her sister and the other folks out there. :)
