This has been another incredible week of ups & downs. We had some wonderful donations come thru. Mr. King, Patty, Gail & Pam, Thank you! Also, an anonymous $25 donation came in to OBX VET! Thank you so much to my family and friends that have made donations in honor of my MawMaw, Patricia Potter Forman. So gracious and she would have been, too! 4 cats were TNRd this week, soon to be posted: Pharel Williams, Mr. King, Frank from Belk & Sarafina. We also received a donation ~ from a mutual lover of felines~ that has PAID THE SHED OFF and provided funds for absolute needs like a radiator for the shed in this cold weather. The floors will also be paid for and stairs to the entrance or other immediate needs. The cattery portion will begin soon! This gift was made in honor of our late grandmothers, both delightful cat ladies and the more recent passing of the donators uncle. It couldnt have come at a more needed time and is touching to know we can continue forward with providing for the needs of the ferals and adoptable kittens coming in to these winter months. Thank you all so much. Each & every effort made by you, Im so thankful for. There is always the yin & yang, the balance in life. Today we received some very heart-wrenching news. Gilligan, one of our former kittens, has a large tumor pressing on his chest, obstructing his breathing. He is struggling a great deal. Hes a beautiful 6 month old boy & has brought so much love to his family, especially his feline sister, Ginger. Please keep Sweet Gilligan in Love & Light as he & his family are going through a very difficult time. Pray his pain seizes and he finds comfort soon and they do as well. Bless this sweet boy, Gilligan.
