This has been digging at me and I need to post this on my own wall: The point that Ive come to is understanding that none of these groups or allies are for us. We are the background characters in their stories, the sidekicks, the supporting characters, the tragic character study. The L, the G, the B, and much of the T, the dozens of sects of feminists, the different forms of MRAs, the couch potato watching the new hip show with the tranny, the coffee-shop activist are not *for* us. We have to be for us. We have to choose to be our own main characters instead of willingly being someone elses background decoration just to feel included or involved or even remembered. The matter in which we are written in the [stories] of all these other groups only differ in what degree they choose to marginalize us.
