This has been eating me up for 2 days now and I need to vent...I cant believe with all the things that we are aware about these days! I had a parent call very late at night for my house, everyone was in bed already, whos child and parents I do not know and in a lower grade, has grandma call and tell me with mom in the background talking too..tells me we live on the same road (which I do not know which house was theirs) , tells me she got my name out of the school directory, asks me if my kids where going to activity and if I could bring her child home. WOW and what if I or my husband was something bad which we are NOT. How dangerous and unsafe was this as a parent to do! I just had to get it off my chest. I politely declined and explained that I did not even know who she was or her child and I could not sorry. I really wanted to say what kind of mother are you to allow your child to get in a car with a stranger regardless if you assume my children being present or not! If I was Not a good person you just may have given me time to construct a plan and set your child up for some possible unthinkable acts like you see on criminal minds and CSI and more even on the local news! SIGH
