This has been in the works for awhile. Sound Choice and Chart Buster karaoke have been filing lawsuits against bars and Karaoke DJs for trademark infringement from displaying their logo during the playing of their songs. Many major cities have been hit and it may be just a matter of time before they target local bars & DJs with copied hard drives. Cavs fought back and recently won settlements from both companies regarding their libel suit. This could slow down or intensify the KJ witch hunt. Only time will tell. Below is the email notification and PDF sites where you may see the legal judgment.
