This has been on my mind...My fellow Tulane alum, Steak Shapiro was irresponsible and inappropriate...but his punishment/firing, in my opinion, was too harsh. He seems genuinely and deeply sorry, and honest in taking responsibility for his poor behavior. We have all done and said things that were stupid and hurtful and awful--thank goodness forgiveness exists. To err is human, to forgive, divine. I hope he can begin his next chapter soon, I feel certain that he learned from his mistake. Just needed to say that...
