This has been one of the longest, hardest days I have had in years. I am grateful for the emotional and physical strength to do everything i did, for Gods words that came from my mouth when needed, the common sense to do the next right thing, and the ability to let go and let someone else have the dignity of their destiny in Gods care. That person is surrendering to the process of healing. And man, is that hard. I go to bed grateful for my sobriety, for my health, for my husband, for my family, for my friends, for my ability to love and feel compassion. I am a strong, lucky, woman.
