This has been quite an eventful week for India and Indians starting with the great success of Mangalyaan & now the entire nation over the weekend awaits Narendra Modis address to the UN General Assembly followed by the historic event at the Madison Square Garden expecting an attendance of 20,000 people. Meanwhile another good news, our friend Arnab Goswami is expected to be in the US to cover Modi which means that we might get spared from his cacophony in Newshour atleast for a few days. Another positive development,Sushma Swaraj meets Chinese delegates in NYC and released an official statement stating that China has given assurance that by 30 Sept its forces will drop back from Ladakh. Insecure from Modis Make in India campaign China launches Make in China campaign in Beijing, I guess that tells you the Modi effect. However everything comes with a pinch of salt, there might be a big anti climax awaiting as today ahead of his NY visit the Federal Court of Southern District of New York issues summons against Modi after complaints by a human rights organization. As the drama unfolds Modi certainly will make headlines at the front page of The New York Times :)
