This has been well-circulated by now, and its a hilarious compendium of stock images of women laughing while eating salad. But you know whats really sad? I feel like these images now represent what feminism has come to mean for many people: Not anger, not an overturning of exploitative practices, not a take-no-prisoners-scorch-the-earth attitude and politics, but a gentler, kinder, smiling acquiescence to a system when it merely promises you that yes, you WILL get a changing table in the loo and, yes, there WILL be a support group with doughnuts. And Dove will feature your cellulite in an ad, as it persuades large-boned women to walk in their undies down the street to make...some kind of point.
