This heavily crowed road connecting Pandit Jitendra Abhisheki Udyan & Karve road Kothrud is hardly 8 mtr. wide. The tree (Chnch if I am correct) is old full grown & grace of that area. But it is covering one third part of the road. Blind corner of Bhagirath towers is added danger of cause of accident. Also it is entry point to that society & PMC road gutter cover is projecting above ground by about 5 inche - enough to imballance 2 wheeler. Small accidents are always taking place at this point. This nice tree can be transferred easily & can be replanted at Abhisheki Garden. But I am sorry this garden made by PMC after spending nearly 75 lakh some 8 years before is closed from beginning because the land was not acquired in proper way by PMC before spending public money. So owner went to court. Shall we hope somebody related to safety of people & caring for greenery of Pune will take lead to replant this tree. Originaly I posted This on Green Pune Movement .
