This hit our blog today and I wanted to share it. The NSCF family is getting after Murph from all corners! I had “volunteers” join me today to remember the sacrafice of LT Murphy and the rest of our comrades in arms who I served with over the years. I had a platoon plus of “volunteers” from the battalion at 0600 this morning. We saluted the flag at 0630 and moved out smartly. This year no corners were cut. 20lb body armor, 1 mile run, 100 Pull ups, 200 Push ups, and 300 air squats followed by a 1 mile run in sequence. This was the first year wearing body armor; its a whole new ball game. 47:05 was my time. Happy Memorial Day to my favorite family at NSCF and I’ll see you soon on my next trip up north.
