This hung on the back of my door in the 90s so that my then husband couldnt see it when he opened the door to my office (he wasnt too happy about these sorts of ideas). This single saying gave me permission to shoot for the stars and go to law school after being a 9th-grade-dropout-welfare-mom. It gave me permission to start acting classes during my last year of law school. It gave me the strength to carry on and continue to dream when my husband had a brain aneurysm and I became a single-mom again. Today, its as true as ever, and theres nothing negative about it, unless you believe that left to your own devices your way is to harm. Ive never met anyone who, beneath their ego or brainwashing, wanted harmful things. Let your heart lead you (it never harms) and live your life, your way. instagram/p/xZ7irpH8Ln/?modal=true
