This idea might be the closest one in CONVERSATIONS WITH GOD to the idea of two beings living in one body. On pages 95-97 (the paging is hard to be certain of on a Nook - is page number at top or bottom of page), there is mention of "no dividing line" between souls and that while the souls are not separate, one soul may manifest in physical reality at a different speed, producing a different degree of density. The author describes the air in the dining room and the air in the living room becoming less dense and "thinner" the closer you get to the boundary of the room. Just a philosophical construct suggesting that at the boundary of two rooms, the characteristic of the air changes.
