This ideology was tried out in the past before being vaunted upon the wider disabled population. A large group this was used against was people enduring M.E. While people with M.E. were accused of illness behaviour and then denied medical intervention and necessary social security it has to be said that some disabled people looked on in disbelief and said But if you are really ill youd have nothing to worry about. The belief systems of the professionals involved was allowed to endure and the ideology was rolled out to all, while some not-yet disabled people now look on in disbelief and say But if you are really ill you have nothing to worry about.
