This in from Coach Hullum: The BHS Team Tennis ended their season with a win against Gatesville on Friday. This is the 1st year for team tennis and the team showed improvement with each match getting them ready for a promising individual tennis in the spring. Price Carpenter dominated at #1 singles with a win over Krumnow 6-1, 6-2. Caleb Cardoza, playing at the #4 slot won over Kleschick 6-0, 6-2. Brian Bullock won at the #5 place over Pratt 6-3, 6-4, and Austin Hall at #6 got a win over James 6-4, 6-1. On the girls side, Hailey Wilson at #1 defeated Chastain 6-2, 6-3. Micayla Light at #2 defeated Russell 6-1, 6-2, and Shaylah Hullum at #6 defeated Owen 6-3, 6-0. In boys doubles, Bullock and Cardoza defeated Hall/James 8-3 and at #3 Austin Hall and Austin Crain defeated Pratt/Kleschick 8-6. In Mixed Doubles Price Carpenter and Hailey Wilson served and volleyed with accuracy for an 8-0 victory over McGough and Chastain. The Bulldog Tennis team will be in off season for the next 3 months in preparation for Individual Tennis beginning in January.
