This incredible video gifts everyone who watches it with a moment to reflect on whats really important in life. Chris Picco is a musician who married Ashley, a lovely young nurse. Pregnant with their first child, Ashley became ill and passed away when their infant Lennon was just 24 weeks old. Delivered premature, Lennon fought for his life. Ashley always noted that while she was pregnant, whenever Chris would play his music, Lennon would move in her womb, as though he were dancing to every note from his fathers guitar. So, Chris brought his guitar to the neonatal intensive care unit and for hours serenaded Lennon with Paul McCartneys Blackbird. Lennon wore a special outfit that Ashley had bought for him, with little guitars on it. As you listen to Chris sing, the noise in the background is Lennons precious heart beat, beating anywhere from 150-200 beats per minute. He clung to life for 4 days and then passed away the day after this video was recorded by a family friend. I cannot begin to imagine the unspeakable pain that Chris must have endured having lost first his wife, and then his infant son. As I watched the video, along with over 5 million others, I wept for this terrible loss of life. I paused and realized that a priceless gift from this video is my very deep gratitude for every breath I take, and for all that Im so grateful for in this life. Family, friends, my furry canine BFF Five O, every smile I receive, every sunrise and sunset I celebrate, the joy I experience whenever I can help someone on their life journey, and so much more. In an interview, Chris said that he was so grateful to have loved and been with his little son during the four days of his life. It brought to mind how easy it is in our busy lives to take for granted the important people who are our A team, as well as all that life has granted us. Take a moment now, and reflect on how you can practice gratitude every moment of your lives. Please watch the video and reflect on what comes to mind. Id love it if you could share with all of us. https://youtube/watch?v=Hu2XyO6csyk
