This information has been emailed out from the USAREUR G-3 AT Division German Police Arrest Syrian Illegal Entry Into Germany: On 20 Aug 13, six Syrian Nationals were standing outside the Aral Gas Station, at the Parsberg Autohof (Hohenfels area), along the A3 Autobahn. The six individuals claimed to have been brought into Germany by a hired taxi. They identified themselves as Syrians, but did not have any identifying documents on them such as passports or other identification. After requesting Asylum they were taken to Regensburg by the Regensburg Autobahn Police and transferred to an asylum center while their requests for asylum are processed. Four days earlier, on 16 Aug 13, the ASG Hohenfels Commander, denied a request from a Syrian/German taxi driver working for a German taxi firm to have unescorted access to local US military installations based on 66th CI screening results that he had family ties to Syria. Both incidents appear not to be related. On 5 Sept 13 two men with romanian passport attempted to enter a service members home, spouse answered the door, when the spouse told them to go away and attempted to shut the door, the other suspect outside put his foot in the door, the spouse immediatley called Military Police as 2 suspects fled. & 9 Sep 13, suspicious activities were reported in Grafenwoehr and Hohenfels, Germany. No Syrian connection, German Police believe Romanian organized crime activity. Vehicles that are being driven have been identified as a Black Peugeot Station wagon with German export plates N 554K, the other vehicle is a Dark Blue Station Wagon with German export plates N 554_? German Police suspect the same plate is being used and German police are on the lookout for these vehicles with this plate. Suspects look of middle eastern decent one with short black hair, the other with long black hair.
