This is Andre Thompsons early eighties Kay acoustic which as you can see has one or two unusual features like a a bolt-on neck, height adjustable saddle and zero fret. To be fair she was showing her age a little and a bit of a challenge. The high action caused intonation issues and made playing difficult but with a bit of fettling and a face lift shes good for a few more years yet. Shimmed the neck shaved and re-shaped the saddle, filed the bridge carrier, trimmed the zero fret, adjusted truss rod, profiled and polished the frets, new strings and a scrub-up. Plays great now.
